Nice sunny day to ride, a bit chilly in the morning, but it was nice and toasty (68 degrees in Fairbanks). Got to Fairbanks to get the bikes into Outpost Harley Davidson for an oil change, and new tires for Larry's bike.

Finally saw a BIG moose just standing about 15 feet off the side of the road at the edge of the woods! I thought it was …

... The drive to Fairbanks was only 130 miles, 2 hr 30 min although it was tricky trying to pass with the rain & mist. It wasn't long before we had to stop for road works again, but fortunately this wasn't for too long. We think the rain might have curtailed some of the work. We did stop where one other car was to see a massive moose eating on the side of the road. His antlers weren't as big as others we had seen, but he was impressive in his size.
