    ... Tom, Ian, Emily and I opted for the longer walk. It had a lovely view. It was also nice to have a decent walk after being on the bus. It was very warm and very humid.     Beth's flights from Vegas to Dallas to Birmingham arrived on schedule.

    For some reason, Sue did not feel like cooking when we got home, so we ordered some Chinese and picked it up on the way home. We had only had a small breakfast and a snack on the plane until we got home. Dinner tonight was at 9:30pm.

    ... of prey which look beautiful when they're soaring in the sky, but close up, look exactly like they sound - a turkey crossed with a vulture. Ugly as sin!     We're basically packed and ready to go on this year's Southwest Adventure! Our flights leave early tomorrow morning and we should all be on the ground in Las Vegas around lunch time.
