... tables, fire pits and crazy boulders strewn around and stacked up everywhere making tunnels and towers for the kids to play around. The first morning there, two Mormon families rocked up with 10 kids between them plus another 8 or so in another campsite - our kids were in heaven! In fact after so many miles on the road and spending way too much time as a family we scuttled our plans to catch a fourth of July in Colorado Springs and spent a third night ...

On the way back we saw really big moose sitting among the trees. We came home for a little while and then Natalie, Dad and I got ready to go to Walmart to pick up a few things. After Walmart we had chicken and rice for dinner and went to bed after a long tiring ...

What a beautiful place. I could see the mountains from so far away. Tissue paper mountains that slowly grew bigger and more substantial until I was driving through them on a beautiful journey.

I went to the Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater, and drove on a bunch of mountain roads. I walked around the Buffalo Bill Grave and Museum. Pretty views always. I think I'll come back someday for a Denver Specific Trip.
