... br> After a short lunch break, the sky cleared and I walked over to Potts Point/Kings Cross to see Fitzroy Gardens. The garden itself was only the size of a city block and was just grass and a fountain. Potts Point is Backpacker Central and very busy with a wide variety of shops. I continued on to Woolloomooloo Bay (try saying Woolloomooloo three ...

... you guessed it...IN THE RAIN! It seemed all our previous luck over the last 9 weeks with regards to the weather had now deserted us for good. You could only imagine the look on Philippa's face. Nevertheless Sydney needed exploring. It was a lovely walk but I just had to be patient with the other tourists when it came to taking photos - at one point I'd just set up my camera on my gorillapod to take a selfie when a group of Asians decided they had to get individual shots of everyone right where I was trying to photograph! But I bit my lip and waited patiently for them to finally leave! I was ...

... Have uploaded a quick video of it here. Once it passes off it's time to head back to hostel and pack up again and get going, as early start the next morning. Wednesday 5th Leave Sydney that morning on 7am bus and head to Port Macquaire. I'm now in the Greyhound buses from here to Cairns. Really good value for money and great service. There are even cheaper bus company's but their times are not as good or flexible. Port Macquaire is a sleepy town, a little retirement ...
