Another restless night this end and I was feeling rather tired so we decided to take a short one hour drive into The Petrified Forest National Park just off Route 66 as a diversion. Hubs hoped we weren't wasting our time as this would add a further 30 miles to our journey, but in my research I had read that you could drive the 28 mile scenic route across the ...

We were up early and out of the gate from Kirtland AFB to McDonald's for our morning coffee, oatmeal and breakfast burrito. Since Kirtland didn't have a working Wifi, Dolly posted the previous day's activities from there.
