... Our next point of interest was the "Hospital Mile".Actually more than a mile long, these various types of hospitals stretch for block after block.After the "Hospital Mile" it was the United Nations Assembly, Grand Central Terminal, Waldorf Astoria Hotel and finally Times Square We got off the bus and walked to our hotel which was about 6 blocks away.Later, we went down the street about a block and had a light lunch. Back to the hotel to rest for out final day.

... Hudson River as we could and at one point we knew there was a road closer than the one we were on. Wes used his great navigation skills to locate the 9J which gave us some lovely views of the mountains -Catskills to the west and Taconic to the east.

The sun was shining and there was hardly a cloud in the sky. It was 57 degrees F when we set off at 8.30.

... have a camera crew with him. They were filming Michael Sam walking on the Brooklyn Bridge for an Oprah session. He was very obliging and took three photos. We had no idea who he was...lip stick was not on, hair blowing everywhere......Not up with the NFL news. We caught the no 6 train home from City Hall( about a 40 min ride) bought dinner at the Garage Gourmet and a bottle of Whispering Angel to celebrate the 4th July. ... brewpub for a late lunch. We didn't find a brew PUB, but we did find a local brewery - the Sarnac Brewery. Apparently it has been around since shortly after prohibition ended. They have two separate breweries, one that produces a general pilsner under the name of Utica Club, as well as a second that produces a selection of several craft beers under the label Sarnac.
