... itself - the two enormous waterfall pools which stand in the Towers footprints , surrounded by the names of those who died - is so simple and serene, but absolutely perfect. Such a fitting tribute. These pools now bask in the shadow of the gigantic Freedom Tower, the reaches a dizzying height into the sky defiantly. ... jungle, I didn't realise that they don't have road names here. Everything is fourth, fifth, sixth....avenue. It's easy to find your way around and the system seems pretty logical, but I was mega confused when I would ask for directions and people would just say, "go to sixth and 23rd street," I'd think huh!?!?! I'm so excited about exploring more of the city, especially Central Park. There is so much to do, that 7 days doesn't seem like enough ...

... brewpub for a late lunch. We didn't find a brew PUB, but we did find a local brewery - the Sarnac Brewery. Apparently it has been around since shortly after prohibition ended. They have two separate breweries, one that produces a general pilsner under the name of Utica Club, as well as a second that produces a selection of several craft beers under the label Sarnac.
