Today was reserved to check out the international Brazilian jiu-jitsu federation no gi world championships in Azusa. Fortunately we also had the opportunity to watch Damian's BJJ mentor/trainer fight. The competition was held at the Azusa university, about an hour from the city at the base of some mountains. Again we drove the highway with the top down and the sun beating down on us. We reached our destination after dealing with a little congestion, which is ...

We arrived in LA to beautifully sunny, warm weather which was great after being freezing cold for a long time in South America. As hotels were so expensive in LA, we found someone who was renting out an Airstream trailer in their back garden. This turned out to be a great choice. We were staying in the suburbs in Venice in ...

On our second to last night in LA we has booked tickets to go and watch the LA Clippers and the Nuggets at the Staples Centre. Before the game we headed to a Mexican restaurant near the Centre where they made fresh guacamole in front of you at your table which was pretty cool, and delicious! Sufficiently stuffed with Mexican goodness we headed over the game. We got our 'number 1 fans' foam fingers and some Bud Light beers (our new fav) ...
