... to look too closely at it!

This time was stressful and bittersweet. Saying goodbye to friends, family and coworkers is extremely difficult. I am not very good at it, either. I get emotional and teary-eyed, and since I tend towards ugly-crying, I shy away from public goodbyes and crying in public places. Just know that there were many tears that were shed privately, with only the cat (or the husband) as witness.

We started the day with a late breakfast, then took a trip to Target, Walmart and then on to the movies. We went to see SAVING MR. BANKS. It was a good movie. When we went in, it was dark and we couldn't see all the other people. Once the movie was over and the lights came up, we noticed the audience was mostly over 60. I guess one reason was it was the matinee and another reason is our age group was the only one who really knew what the movie ...

... at Cedar Breaks Campground about 2 pm. Jim was working the gate and didn't recognize us in our new "home". We got settled into our site and boy what a view (see pictures)! ... we made plans to leave Lake Conroe a couple days early, and to meet up with Maureen and Ron here in Georgetown, Texas.

This is a Corps of Engineers Park, the first one we've stayed in, and it's really quite nice.
