So I booked the same ticket as Nicola, the bullet train to Guangzhou (capital city of Guangdong Province, a major city in China) on the understanding that we could get tickets from there to HK quite easily and cheaply. On the subway, Jimmy thought to check the China tour book, this confirms the maglev is at Longyong Road station and is still in our path on line 2, we can still get the maglev and we will make the airport in time.....phew, relief and excitement.
