Waking up was bittersweet on this morning as it meant that it was time to take down our tent and leave the Smokemont Campground for the last time. You can't ask for more in a campground; it had a tent pad, fire pit, picnic table, and was nestled right at the foot of the Great Smokies. If you ever go camping in the Smokies, this is place is …
... flowers, and amazing little stores! A long ride home and a nice family dinner. Sad it's our last night. We've had such a good time and our Alabama family is truly amazing!! Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and ofcourse, all the laughs! And off to pack again...Orlando here we ...
Happy 4th of July! Always seem to help the Americans celebrate their day! Off to ziplining through the Great Smoky Mountains. Beautiful views. Ziplining was a great experience! Met a guard chicken! Headed home for a nice simple dinner of grilled cheese sandwiches. Hit the spot! Spent the evening playing cards, competing against each other in the arcade, and soaking our aching bodies in the hot tub! What a great ...
Packed and ready! It's always about the food! Long drive and lots of July 4th traffic. Made it to Gatlinburg...nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains. Beautiful! Had to have a cup of chai when we arrived and some pizza for dinner. Good food, great company! Thank you ...

The room was small but perfect if all you're looking for is a roof over your head, a bed to sleep in, and a shower. It was clean and even had a ~ 32" flatscreen TV if you just want to chill and relax. Plus, it's right in the center of Gatlinburg. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to spend most of their trip outside the hotel room.
