    ... hot spring water.

    In the evening we go to the Old Saltsberg restaurant. The food not bad and eventually Alan warms up the waitress to have the obligatory photo with me and this carabou called Arthur. The lovely waitress was called Cheryl and I think she just wanted someone to take her around the world on the back of their motorbike ( not me). Overall a very good night and our first in Canada. More to follow including pictures

    ... staff member told us to go see baggage department as some luggage wasn't loaded due to overloading. Guess who's bags weren't loaded - yup! Another 30-40 mins later we decide to catch the next bus to banff and the luggage would catch us sooner or later via airport delivery (4 hours from calgary!)

It is not well groomed or kept but we do see water, but with the exception of a few boats and a lot of weeds there is nothing to see here. “But where is the beach?” Obviously it is not here so we get back on the highway. Not far down the road we see a sign announcing Aspen Beach Provincial Park. We miss one entrance so take the next. We find the boat launch but again no beach!     ... hike to see a river canyon and waterfall in a place called Marble Canyon. Another place we stopped was called Olive Lake. It was neat because the water was so clear, you could see all the fallen logs under the water. The lake is fed from a spring that just comes from under the earth! Its was neat!
