... the other people were...I'm still amazed that no one was seriously hurt. Unbelievable! We are heading towards a place called 'Detroit Lakes' today. For those of you following on the map, that's all the hiways following Lake Superior to Duluth/Superior and then dipping south towards Fargo, ND. We are stopping in at some prospective campsite in National Forests to see if we might be able to get the Motorhome in on future trips. So far, they seem ...

Tomorrow we will be heading to Wisconsin. ...

Even with super-duper bug spray, they are having a feast on us. Today we ...

... not, we stopped at a Walmart to buy some groceries...this was a Super Walmart -- I have never seen one so big.....I almost got lost. LOL We were back on the road within a half hour. Got to the Mackinaw Bridge which connects the island (Upper Peninsula) with the mainland. This bridge also intersects Lake Huron with Lake Michigan. The bridge is a 5-mile ...

We arrived just after a heavy rain storm, set up camp before dark and rushed off the the Brewery restaurant for supper before they stopped serving. Enjoyed two delicious beers with supper, a stout and then an amber red. Next day hiked to see the lower falls and then the upper falls which are the 2nd largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi River. The beautiful rust and golden colour is from all the iron.
