... to fly to Vegas. We had to catch two planes to get to Vegas via San Francisco but the flights were fine and we arrived at our hotel New York, New York - which for those that don't know Vegas is styled on New York so has a Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and a roller coaster (not sure of the relevance of that though??). We have a nice high room that overlooks the strip with nice views. The hotel is located on the bottom end of the strip but it's a lot quieter ...

... someone famous. Ledley King and Dynamo to name but two examples.

Without making myself physically sick it was great to spend a decent amount of time with my brothers. The banter flowed continuously and I've never laughed so much (except that time they both tried to educate me about girls when I was younger). We decided to do the slightly more expensive one but it was ...

Anyway, I purchased the tickets so I could easily control the logistics of the trip and I set about coming up with a detailed itinerary because yes, I'm that person now. I invited my BFF who is a teacher, and she was able to ...

... we were in the prime position to head up to the Grand Canyon. One thing i need to let people know is that the Grand Canyon itself is NOT on Route 66 really. Its about 50 miles off track, there are quite a few things that you will encounter like this at times but this is quite a way out. You can still do it though as we did. We got up really early and just headed straight up there.

It works out $25 per car which is reasonable. We decided ...
