For people who love to see Aeroplane and Gliders Elmira Soaring Museum is a must visit. There are places where visitors can just sit and watch the gliders being towed up in the air, and there is also the possibility to purchase a Glider ride for yourself.

You can look at the pictures attached and see how the tow works and how the glide works.

Most of the people get an airtime of around 15 minutes in the glider. The day we visited, there ...

If you don’t have much time or can’t handle all the steps at the beginning, I would see the Buttermilk Falls from the lower entrance and then go up to the upper entrance and hike down to see the later falls. The upper half of the gorge trail isn’t as steep and you can see those falls without going up all the steps. ...

... seems to be the "raison d'etre" of this city. Everything looks a little tired and worn, too. But once we crossed into the state park, my opinion changed drastically. Neat, well cared for, and not terribly crowded on a Thursday afternoon, the Niagara Falls State Park was lovely to stroll around in. Chris had purchased Discovery Passes for us in advance, and we picked these up at the main visitors center. Our passes ...
