... a bit of a ride.

We then went through miles and miles of corn and soy bean fields. The scenery was beautiful. We drove through to Wisconsin and ended up at New Glarus, which is a small Swiss town. Funny thing, there was a car show on, so Darryl’s eyes lit up a little. We had a beautiful lunch and then went for a little walk around town.

Everyone talked me into getting on the bike for a ride, so I did. It was a bit scary ...

... far from Dodgeville. We had a little look through some art gallery's whilst there. It's a very popular area for artists to have gallery's and to live in. My favourites had to be the amazing photograph & realistic drawings. Quite a few I could easily take home but my over weight case won't allow me to! Today we took a tour of Lincoln's house. Most of the furniture was original. I do not have a picture of the house on the I-pad so I can show it. It is a two story home now but when Lincoln bought it was 1 story. In the 17 years they owned a second story was added and a room in the back. From there we went to Lincoln's tomb. We took a tour of tomb building it was beautiful. Dave and I walked down a lot of stairs to the temporary tomb were Lincoln's body was laid ...

Ok, now I am really interested in talking to him as the web site shows a 2nd theater in town that was built n 1929 and has retained much of the original charm of the original theater, however, 1st order of business is that we have no place to stay for the night and it's at least several hours back to main highway and truck stops.
