... it was supposed to be warm down here. Galveston is a city on the island of Galveston. It has suffered two devastating hurricanes in the last century. One, in the year 1900 took 6000 lives, and another in 2008 that caused widespread damage and loss of life. We saw little evidence of the devastation. ... in Cameron and one in Port Bolivar, just before Galveston. Also there's plenty of houses on stilts, white picketboard churches and sea views to entertain as we bowl along.

Some 1/3rd of the way thoughts: Loving the Harley - it really is the right motorcycle for BIG USA roads, it is very comfortable, got good grunt, handling is there if you remember to use the power(!), space is good (well, for one anyway) and she, Jess, looks the business.

... Sauce lights. What different food delights awaited us (accompanied by beverages, of course). We sampled smoked pulled pork, king cake, Alligator legs, crawfish, boudin and crab pizza and finally boudin neat - wonderful. Then, just when we wanted to shout "stop", a huge raspberry layer cake was produced for us all to enjoy as it was one of the groups Birthday. Anna and I agree, it was our sort of afternoon!
