About 2 PM we made our daily visit to Barts and I was feeling well enough to go to the supermarket to be provisioned for the weekend. We’re back now, and I am happy to report that I’m just about fully back to ...
... down our progress somewhat. We duly arrived early at our next stop in Lyndonville, which turned out to be a bit of a dump - the end of the world sort of place, with a grumpy greeting at the motel and a hike into town. The Diner, Miss Lyndonville's Diner, would pass its Health and Safety check and will be graced by our presence this evening for a haddock and chips (home fries) supper - "eat all you can!" We'll see about that.
