    ... leech socks images" and scroll until you find what it looks like if you don't have leech socks. Needless to say, we now have this new fashion statement as part of our wardrobes.

    Wireless is supposed to be widely available at least when we are in the cities, so I will write again in a few days after we arrive. Until then, look out for leeches.

    Near Brunswick, GA we hit heavy, sometimes blinding rain. Not fun! Fortunately it didn't last too long. It's raining on and off all through S. Carolina. I-95 is closed at I-26. Northbound traffic is being re-routed west on I-26. We're headed for I-77 to Charlotte. The good news? Gas is $1.99 9/10 (cash). Temp is in the mid-60s. We've switched from A/C to heat!     ... impressive and exciting is that they have been able to develop a business around something they are passionate about.

    Now we are taking a little break after walking Maggie and before dinner. We are thoroughly enjoying our wooded campsite (despite the uninvited spider guests that seem to have found their way in through the vent). We won't let a little thing like spiders destroy our joy in being here though. What an absolutely wonderful day!
