... Beach has been able to retain the charm of a small town florida coast. The state park is not very large and the camp ground is about half mile from the beach and half mile from the road, so it is very quiet. The spaces are spread apart so you have privacy amidst the slash pines and brush. Clean bathroom facility and easy walk to the beach or drive either one.

The first half of the "cut off" was great paved road no cars.... The second half that google suggested was a power line trail leading into what I thought looked exactly like a jungle and I was positive was full of poisonous snake, dead bodies, and who knows what else. After ...

Musings in Milton

... with a good buzz, Aubry proclaims that we have to stop on our way out of town (to Ocean Springs, MS) for drive-through daiquiris. Whoohoo! We have mixed feelings about the whole thing, but enjoy the novelty of it all (like really you can buy alcohol from your car because there is a lid on it so it isn't an "open container"? I'm curious to see what the statistic are for drinking and driving in Lousiana) Did I mention that we were able to cram both of the bikes and our stuff into ...
