... the we had a walk along the reservoir and the kids were fascinated with some big red ants that picked up the remains of our crisps and carried them to their hole. We spoke to a ranger and heard that the dinosaur tracks were the other side of the reservoir, so we got back into our RV and tried to find the road to it. Day 6 - Glenwood Springs to Vernal, Utah

We decided to leave relatively early the next morning, which was a good thing as we stopped for lunch at a deserted reservoir and then passed into Utah and stopped at Dinosaur National Monument. The day started off great. I really like Capital Reef National Park. We spent a couple of hours riding around and walking for a close-up of the sights. We were going to take the 18 mile round trip scenic drive, but they are working on the road and the sign at the entrance said, "No Long Vehicles" and "Narrow Road".
