... the other we went to check into the Rodeway Inn, Jane had jsut gotten there. We settled in and then I went back for my bike. The Raleigh deraleir was messed up and the cassette.......They were so nice there Jasmynn was the gal that helped us and she was very helpful and they gave me a break on the price to fix both.....Even offered us to camp at the back of the store.....

... the route...so we had a walk along the reservoir and the kids were fascinated with some big red ants that picked up the remains of our crisps and carried them to their hole. We spoke to a ranger and heard that the dinosaur tracks were the other side of the reservoir, so we got back into our RV and tried to find the road to it. After two wrong turns (imagine 3 point turns in a 30 foot RV!), we finally found our spot....at about 10 ...

Day 6 - Glenwood Springs to Vernal, Utah

We decided to leave relatively early the next morning, which was a good thing as we stopped for lunch at a deserted reservoir and then passed into Utah and stopped at Dinosaur National Monument. We were sad to leave Colorado and wished that we had more time, but places to go! The landscape turned a bit more barren and dry...but still very beautiful. We were hoping to see ...

The day started off great. I really like Capital Reef National Park. We spent a couple of hours riding around and walking for a close-up of the sights. We were going to take the 18 mile round trip scenic drive, but they are working on the road and the sign at the entrance said, "No Long Vehicles" and "Narrow Road". So, we decided to turn around and save it for the next time. Besides, at that point John announced that he had seen enough red rocks. I guess ...
