... those who are staying in Calgary, as she lives in Calgary. Our flight isn't until 7.30pm but for us to go into town and get a taxi later would have cost around $60, plus we need to check in three hours prior to go through Customs, so it really wasn't worth it.

We headed off at 9am, stopped off for a 20 min break along the way, and arrived at Calgary Airport around 11.30am.

... new phone! Once Sydney dropped us off at the airport, we checked our bags, and on our way to the gate, Tony handed me a gorgeous pair of sunglasses- white Chrome Hearts brand!! He said it's my early birthday present.. I was so excited trying them on and looking at them that I laid down my passport and boarding pass and walked off without it! ... round a suburban housing estate we found a scenic bit with a hole in the fence. JR and me baled out for photos and Evan sat in the car! Anyway we did not have long to wait and got some decent pictures.

We'd been advised to be at the Verde Canyon Railway at 12:00 for a 1pm departure but as it was Friday thought we had better get JR to either a UPS or USPS office so that he could post his package of old clothing taken out of his case to make room for new stuff.

... huge! Walked Down the strip as far as the Bellagio - had to see the fountains of course ;) Yep they're pretty cool. Went inside for a look, also visited Ceasars Palace and the forum shops with the roman theme, and the Venetian with its indoor canals and gondolas, with opera singing gondaliers.
