May 27th – Day 23

Today was the drive into Sequoia
National Park. The length of our RV meant we couldn't take the
closest route into the park. We're 31 foot and the tight switchbacks
meant that only vehicles less than 22 foot could use that road.
Instead we needed to leave Visalia and drive an hour north before
heading into the Park. It meant a ...

... went to work and tried to set up the laptop this afternoon. Got most of it done. Fortunately, Lil has a Geek Squad contract, so they will finish what I couldn't get done today! Oh yeah, Lil wondered how you could take a picture of yourself, so I showed how to take a selfie!!!! early 1900s. amazingly it had already
grew back over the hole quite a bit ...

... drove on through the forest and up to Panoramic Point. The road was a remote trail wide enough for only one lane. It was 2.3 miles long, weaving through the woods up to 7,000 feet elevation. And I was looking forward to the view. But when we got there, it was a parking lot, the base of a walking trail to the top of the mountain. Sigh. I thought long and hard about this. The trail was a zigzag up, about half a mile long and rising about 500 feet. I was having a ...

I realized that Pakou and I are about halfway through our trip and we haven't bought any gifts for our hosts to show our appreciation, so we took the bus to Walmart. Hours and hours went into searching and we finally decided to buy them two movies. We walked out of the store and Pakou saw Micheal's nearby so we went to go check it out. There were numerous of crafting items we wanted to get but couldn't due to ...
