Day 49. Vermont The first stop today was Fort Adams - not that was saw a great deal of the fort. It was bucketing down, windy and so cold, the walk to the visitors centre was enough to send us back to the warmth of our car. ... of beauty for the past 87 summers. Our week here is going by very quickly, and we'll be back oh the road soon heading to our next stop. We had some beautiful weather, sunny and warm, cool at night. However, we had a couple of ear piercing thunderstorms over the weekend. I'm sooooo glad we aren't tent camping! We enjoyed that when our kids we little and we were a whole lot younger! I'll stick to my Bounder and take life as it comes.

Well off we set at 8:30 am to venture along the hwy to get closer to Cooperstown. The toll roads are enough to break you. One we hit in Maine was $7.50, another $4.00 and another at $ 3.50, yikes.
