So today started out with a 7:45am pick up by our tour bus which took us to the Muir Woods. Remarkable place and photos we got will not do it any justice, however I did get a picture with a bear today. As expected, bigger than me and quite scary but once I got up close he was pretty friendly :) Picture will be attached! Then we wandered onto three wineries. ... As we pedalled along the cost rode to the Golden Gate Bridge we heard a cat squealing behind us. It was being strangled. We heard it again. I looked around but saw nothing, very odd. Next thing I heard Daffy Duck. I turned again and saw this dude in his 50's cycling along making these noises with his mouth. He was wearing a Loony Tunes "That's all folks" cycling jersey. ... our room looks out to the Market Building and the Bay Bridge which is beautifully lit up. The Bay bridge is in two sections - divided by a tunnel through an island in the middle. It was badly damaged in the last earthquake and the eastern section had to be rebuilt - the old bit is still being demolished.
