We left Reedsport... 57 degrees but sunny and clear. Beautiful mist over the water and miles of sandbar open to explore. Ziggy was in 7th heaven. Makes him soft in the head and elsewhere. (Ok, Anne is reading these blogs before they are posted now that she is along for the ride....this line was not ok....but it was not deleted...so there!)

The views were amazing with huge rock outcroppings bursting out of the sandbars hundreds of ...

Today we got an early start on what promised to be an ambitious day. The free breakfast at the hotel was lame today, just muffins and granola bars. We were on the road by 7:30. This passes by on the eastern side of the Olympic National Park, and runs adjacent to the Hood Canal, the westernmost portion of ...

The elevation in the park is 43 feet, and high temperatures have been in the mid-60's, lows in the mid-50's, and ...

... and it was a spectacular view. This is Sue with the dogs. They loved to run a play on the beach. The tide was out and we had about 100 yards of grey, really fine sand. There were several groups of people from the campground on the beach to enjoy the sunset. One group had a fire going which was very nice. There is a public access adjacent to the campground. There were also a couple ...

This weekend Jacob and I stayed at Seabrook, in Ocean City Washington. It was a once in a lifetime experience. As we were driving from Spokane I started looking up hotels near the coast and stumbled upon a rental property. From there I found this website: http://www.seabrookc ottagerentals.com

I called the property and the young woman was so kind she offered us one ...
