      ... had planned to boondock camping on Bureau of Land Management vast acreage around here, but discovered that it's hunting season, and apparently Nevada is BIG into this so there's swarms or hunters up in the hills where we had planned to go. Obviously didn't think it was conducive to our health to have a bunch of hunters with high-powered rifles and maybe a little booze around the evening campfire next to us, so we'll do this next ...

      Come for the sights...then get out fast!

      ... that it has been tough for me not to venture off my highway and into one of the old abandoned cave mines. You know. Just to see... or maybe just for a good journal story. I won't though. I made someone make me make a promise not to.

      Tonight, I chose to post lots of pictures. They are some of my favorites and hopefully show through my simple eye the grand and awesome beauty of this forgotten region. I hope you enjoy.

      ... on the "lonely road" called: Horns-A-Plenty-Antler-Art (see picture below). I checked out their website and they make amazing lighting and home accents with antlers! These beautiful pieces have been featured in commercials and movies too!
