    ... And thanks for coming to visit with us…we loved catching up!

    As we said in an earlier post, it's really the friends that you meet throughout your life that makes the journey so fun. Major Laura Taylor is one of those people. We met at RAF Mildenhall while flying KC-135s in England. Thanks Laura for meeting us out in the heat at a playground, so we could let the kids stretch their legs. Tomorrow, more friends and more adventures.

    The call of home was getting stronger, but we mostly stuck to our travel plans, stopping in our planned places the last few days.     ... the half hour it was late. We passed Quantico and Richmond, Virginia, both of which feature regularly in NCIS. We also passed fields of parked military vehicles. Wilson is a very quiet town which in its heyday was a tobacco town. The local baseball team is the Tobs (Tobacconists).
