    ... company run by native Indians and had an amazing air boat trip across the swamps. Our guide found plenty of alligators hidden in the undergrowth. Another amazing experience. We hit the road again and did the 130 odd miles to Naples, a very upmarket beach town.     ... it went around the glade...a sort of 'call and response' orchestration. The fireflies seemed to be hovering at about 5 foot off the forest floor ... imagine the perseverance of these tiny insects ... out there determined to follow natures call; no matter the rain.

    And hurrah for us too, undaunted by the weather, we had accomplished our goal and together experienced one of the unique events of nature.
