Waiting and relaxing
... kann sich aber auch auf englisch mit Leuten aus brasilien und Afrika unterhalten. Wenn man Glück hat trifft man auch paar Kiwis, also neuseeländische Leute. Morgen soll es leider regnen. Mal sehen was uns einfällt. Jetzt gehts raus auf die Terrasse zu den anderen und demnächst gibts auch leckere kürbis Suppe. Ich bin ja gespannt :)

Day 42
... so we started of having a shower and then a coffee at Starbucks to use the WiFi so I could check the score in the NPC final, yay the Red and Blacks did it for the 5th year in a row. Made Mag walk around a bit so we looked in every shop then decided to have a beer. Big mistake in a muslim country. Tauranga and Ohope
... cream shop. That evening we spent the night at Nicole's family home where her Dad cooked an amazing BBQ despite that the weather wasn't exactly BBQ'ing weather. After dinner we did a traditional Kiwi tradition.... we watched the All Blacks play South Africa on TV. Although I don't follow rugby, I really enjoyed watching it and seeing how into it they get. It was really good to see Nick and Nic and actually have some time in 'non traveler' mode.

Rotten-Rua
... All in all, we were SO happy we chose that trip! I might have even overcome a little of my claustrophobia...maybe. That night we stayed on a farm which was really pretty to look at when we got up this morning, though we didn't get to hang around for long because we had to catch the bus to Rotorua (nicknamed Rotten Rua because of the sulpher smells coming from the geysers underneath the city). Mount Maunganui
... a YHA in Tauranga. This is a proper city with a huge and very busy port. I really liked it there, again the weather was excellent which showed off the modern and quaint town centre off nicely. On Saturday I had a long walk around the town and port area where there was a very high quality craft market in Shed 3. This is very unusual the world over for there to be actual quality products on sale. I even bought my first ornament!! (almost unheard of for me as I'm quite fussy!) It's ...
