Zion National Park. Bryce Canyon NP & Arches NP

A travel blog entry by balsiteger

Weinig spectaculairs meegemaakt vandaag. Huh? …

... of peanut butter, and a jar of some kind of fat. Will has mangy shoulder length hair with a dusty brown straw hat that looks like an upward extension of his burly beard. He's about my age, and has been living in the canyon wilderness a few miles from town for a couple years. He pops up every couple weeks to resupply and say hi to friends. He opened his bottle of beer with the tip of his knife and the cap went flying. The knifemaker's daughter ...

... our evening meal, Mexican tacos. After a tasty dinner we sat down to watch the sunset over Bryce Canyon, watching the stone change colour. To end the evening well there was one thing left to do, a group jump shot! After the moment was captured, the furniture in the bus was converted to beds to enable a comfortable night drive. It was all girls on deck, displaying excellent team work, Girl Power! Once beds were chosen and sleeping bags were claimed, lights turned out, then it was time to ...

    Nice stay

Price is a bit steep, but may be because of proximity of major tourist attraction. Rooms are old, but clean. Free Internet, large fridge and restaurant promises to be good. Will try tomorrow.

At $40 a night incl. taxes (winter rates) this is a steal. No breakfast though and the restaurant is only open for lunch and dinner.
