Glenn Canyon Dam en Bryce

A travel blog entry by chielb

Weinig spectaculairs meegemaakt vandaag. Huh? …

Scenic UT89, UT24 & UT12, a must for UT travelers!

... of nowhere. We did some hiking, huffing/puffing (elevation 7,000+++) and saw white pelicans common to inland lakes and ponds. UT has the best roads of any state we have traveled. We have really enjoyed UT, and certainly now that the National Parks will be opening here… thank you UT!

We took scenic route UT 24,( a must travel road when in this area) over the Fish Lake Mountains right up into the snow again (9,680 ft & 26 degrees) and were quite happy ...

Price is a bit steep, but may be because of proximity of major tourist attraction. Rooms are old, but clean. Free Internet, large fridge and restaurant promises to be good. Will try tomorrow.

At $40 a night incl. taxes (winter rates) this is a steal. No breakfast though and the restaurant is only open for lunch and dinner.
