This group of about 20 adoptive parents here in the hotel has been a great support network while we have been in China. We have all been able to share stories about the process. ... to sleep too long today, as we have to be up very early tomorrow to start the trip back home. Zayne's visa was delivered as expected this afternoon, and we are basically all set. Zayne is picking up a couple English words a day. He is doing well, and his cough is all but gone. Hopefully he will do well on our long travel day tomorrow.

We depart in the morning at 6:30 for the airport and our trip to Shanghai. From there, we have about a 4 hour layover ...
