    ... Winded in Windham, how appropriate. He was content with his time, but as ever, cited room for improvement. Tomorrow's race is the big one, a 77 miler.

    We are currently sitting outside as I write this: a glass of wine at my right, the sun setting, the wind whistling through the air and each of us with a dog in our laps. Ah, contentment.     Departure from Nyack (we got dropped off just a bit out of NYC to avoid traffic) went well. We cycled approximately 65 km (40 miles). It was quite hilly (a lot more than what I am used to) but we eventually made it to Beacon, NY where we camped for the night in someone's backyard.
