Sunday 12th October, walked down to Mandurah Markets, eclectic mix of stalls, then another coffee deal at Cicerellios; coffee and the biggest ever chocolate éclair for $6, Chris had to take half of her muffin cake home! ... The downside of this is the woman there told her about a Quilting Material shop in Bunbury. (A bit further down the road). After a good look around here we continued out the road to Dwellingup. Both info centre and the forestry info attraction were closed so we had to settle for lunch at the Blue Wren Cafe. ... great outdoor space and then Phoebe took us on a walk to her favourite haunts. What a stunningly beautiful area is this. Serpentine River and the Estuary.

About 4pm we said our farewells and we were thinking we would go to the National Park. Instead we headed for Herron Point. No Herons but Allan reckons this is because the point is spelt with a double R and not one. Glassy water, and pelicans. Quite beautiful.

... enthusiast Dave Robinson. The village has grown but in early 2012 Abingdon Village closed. Regular visitors to the village decided to reopen and have plans to establish the final area of land. Stayed - Fiona and Shaun's backyard in Mandurah. (Fiona is Brad's niece) Lovely flat concrete area with grass and adjacent bar area!
