Swam our laps this morning at the Fremantle pool. Felt great to get some exercise that was measurable. We both feel well and fit but not sure how fit we really are. Met Hannah in a cafe while she used their wifi to search info about Hong Kong and New York. She's all set and really looking forward to the big adventure. We're driving to Perth today and showing Hannah around and then we'll head inland to the Swan region and check out some wineries. ...

... built by an older couple, modelled on the English manor estates, and the business is now run by their two sons and a nephew. Ryan McManus, our host, showed us to a huge room overlooking the gardens and lawns, right next to the honeymoon suite.

... beach is the first thing we came upon and of course it was a good 1.5 hours later that we left it. There were some sculptures here too - which we learned was just the second year of the event and it is only for artists from WA. A side benefit was that we learned that there was an Aussie rules football match between the two local teams - Perth and Freemantle on Sunday and the lady who told us about the art son was on the Perth team. ...
