... a nice spicy Thai meal.

After dinner Bob and Cathy treated us to dessert at Veniero. A local dessert place that has been operating since 1894. Wow. The choice of dessert was overwhelming. Dozens upon dozens of delectable sweets offerings. Cheesecake of all varieties, mousse, cup cakes, flans. You name it, they had it. Yum. Yum. People are always shocked when I tell them how old I am and I'm safely assuming that it is because I've never been married nor had any kids. How can you be that old with no family and show your face in public? It's easy because I use a makeup with SPF to shield me from damaging ...

... like building that housed an enormous collection or religious art and artifacts collected predominately from France in the early part of last century. The collection at the Cloisters like that at the MET and some of the other great museums of the western world always makes me feel a little uneasy. While it is very convenient for visitors to see a neatly catalogued collection of 2000 years worth of art I wonder how ...
