... a family receiving their home. Heart breaking and inspiring at the same time. Our group of 60 people had been divided into 4 building teams, with our family being selected for the "Orange" team. The teams boarded the designated vans and headed to the four different building site. ... stay- The Kala Samui- mid range to expensive 25. Ko Phangan - the party island. Known for its full moon parties, and if there isn't a full moon, they will find a reason to have a party anyways. Beaches are hit and miss, the nice ones are on the north side. This island is hard to get around in places. Best place to stay -Dolphin Bungalows- basic,or Panviman Resort- pricey 26. Ko Tao- known for its diving. Okay beaches, very pretty jungle feel. A bit hard to get around as ...

... We spent about six hours, walking around the zoo. We also watched a 4D movie about Ice Age 3. Very cool.

The Parents

We have loved our time in the US. We have seen so many fascinating places and animals, heard so many great stories, and met some unbelievably friendly people. But, it is time for us to move onto what we call Stage 5 of our trip. Crystal Symphony, here we come!

... on Adams Ave. across the street. Roy for one was already in the 7th level of heaven. A Starbucks to Roy is like ice for a polar bear; contingent to his survival and enjoyment of any new region.

Our particular street was only two blocks away from the Kensington sign on a side street sporting two story Spanish styled homes, pristine horticulture, and spacious yards.

... Makai. Sadie of course gets wet and chases dogs who chase balls. Her ball sinks in the drink being a salvaged tennis ball off sister Laurie's walker. Sadie has to dunk her head to grab it. Good girl Sadie!

I'm pretty dog tired, having gotten up with Sadie twice in the night. She was protecting the house from scary sounds. She did a good job, the scary sounds did not get us. So we head to the hotel. Cory comes ...
