Great value for Lake Tahoe. Old school motel that has had some nice renovations. Large, clean room with kitchenette. We had room with balcony & lake view. Nice little pool. Decent complimentary breakfast.

58 degrees & sunny at 8 AM. Spent the morning driving down Route 1 along the California Coast. Friday, June 26, 2015. PCT day 68. Miles 1006.9-1018 With only 12 miles or so to Sonora Pass (hwy 108), today was a relatively easy day. We steered around the lovely Emerald Bay with its small castle-topped island before heading out into the lake. By this time everyone's confidence was up so we notched the speed up to 45 / 50 mph and literally flew along.
