Dinner is served at 6pm each night and alternates between a more formal, waiter served dinner with three courses or a more casual buffet style dinner. Tonight was a formal dinner and I had a salad with blue cheese dressing for the appetizer, meatballs in tomato sauce and served with grits for the main course and the blueberry cornmeal skillet cake with creme fraiche ...

... This afternoon we did one last visit into the city. A late lunch at Drugin Park in Quincey Market area. Then a visit to a new kids book/toy store to look around. Then finally to watch the light display and Irish Step Dancers. All exhausted to headed back to the hotel. Baths and bed for the kids, finished packing for the adults. Up early ...

With full tummies, we enjoyed the
walk back to the hotel, stopping to take a few pictures along the way, and

... sneak into the music concert. We were foiled at the last step by an officious clerk who then proceeded to follow us as we attempted to enter at every open gate.

Knowing when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em is not my strong suit but Karen prevailed and we also called it a night with a very healthy buzz.

What a great city, certainly exceeded my expectations. I had been here for work before but never got a chance to soak it all in, I'm glad we did this time.

Warren was very welcoming, and we've made arrangements to go to his place on Thursday and he'll pick us up from the train station (he offered to come into the city and pick us up, but we said we'd be fine to get a train to his suburb). Mike's going to take the day off work and Warren said his daughter and her fiancee will also join us for a bbq at his place. Nice people.
