    ... to make an example of how plastic is damaging our oceans and marine life. They made sure all of their talks and information boards reinforced the need to look after the ocean and make better choices.

    Beautiful drive down the 280 to Felton to catch up with my old school buddy, Don Lobete and his wife Ronnie who have lived in Felton near Santa Cruz for 14 or so years. Famous for the giant redwoods at Henry Cowell Redwood State Park which we spent the morning hiking around. Incredible size to these freaks of nature with some thousands of years old. Enjoyed a great lunch and a few local beers at Chamanaide which overlooks the Santa Cruz area. Parted ways with Don and Ronnie and set ...

    Thursday, Oct 3 -

    We started Part II of our 4th Cross Country trip in the RV with Skip taking us to the airport this morning. We flew into Monterey where Josh and Lilly picked us up. We were greeted with a running hug and shouts of "Gramma, Papa!" from Lilly - nothing better!

    ... and it has been beautiful!!! How Paul pulled this trailer down that coast road I will never know !!! I was nervous and I was not even driving!
