... and so decided the bikes would be the better option. It was a beautiful day to ride and we headed up toward Lover's Point stopping along the way to enjoy the view.

Beautiful drive down the 280 to Felton to catch up with my old school buddy, Don Lobete and his wife Ronnie who have lived in Felton near Santa Cruz for 14 or so years. I am going to try and attach a few pictures but my word!!! Anyone faint of heart should stay away- beautiful but narrow roads very very high up and hardly any side rails!! Amazing!!! Two days ago we took the ferry into San Francisco and we saw a sign that said 30 minute walk ...

... vinegars) and stopped for a light late lunch. We also checked out the departure point at Old Fisherman's Wharf for our whale watching trip tomorrow. There are a couple of nice small beaches along there as well where there were quite of SCUBA diving training classes taking place. I suggested it to Alex but he wasn't keen.

On returning to the hotel we inquired of the receptionist where she'd recommend for food. She suggested a couple of places one ...
