... purchasing souvenirs. Whilst on the note of souvenirs - postcards don't seem to be as popular here as they are in Europe, so whilst I will do my best to buy some to send, so far I haven't found any that I actually like - and they also just come in packs of 20, which isn't ideal (unless you want to send me your addresses via email (or comment here I guess) if you want a postcard from Beijing. I might have more success in Hong Kong - but by that time they arrive ...

Then we visited the Olympic Birds Nest and Water Cube. The visibility resembled London Fog, and frankly I am determined to label it fog, because ignorance is bliss.
