    ... after 42 or 43 years. We had a nice lunch and some wine while discussing our lives in the intervening years. Plenty to talk about. Over two hours later we left the restaurant and said good bye. We were on our way to go into Notre Dame when the skies opened. A 15 minute absolute downpour.     It's pouring in Paris and we decide to walk a lot and investigate. After a yummy brekkie we leave the hotel replete and ready for adventure. I'm woefully underprepared - no raincoat no umbrella and shoes that got wet in the first 30mins. Once I get over that it was ok and secured an umbrella - felt a million times better for that.     ... the french do not like to condition their hair, lots of shampoos, no conditioners. I was able to locate one bottle of Pantene conditioner, so Pantene it is.
