The gardens look almost like a work of art with neat trees, manicured lawns and flower gardens buzzing with bees and fat overweight bees that looked delightful. A glass of wine and a little mutual admiration see us ready to retire to eat and rest, ready to pick up the four day Paris Pass tomorrow after 10. ...

... of fun and our English speaking waiter even named each cheese and gave us a brief description. It was really great and a very fun experience. We both now know what camembert tastes like (think, brie). Our waiter was so incredibly nice and helpful. From the moment we walked in, Monica said he reminded her of Lumiere, the candlestick from Beauty and the Beast. Both are tall and skinny and obviously French, so I'll take her word for it. Completely stuffed from dinner, ...

... Notre Dame, and the Obelisk. One contemporary tourist site we saw was the bridge leading to the French Language Protection Building. It was full of love-locks chained to the sides of the bridge.

Since we are on a budget, our plan is to do everything that is free; stand beside each monument and take a picture instead of going inside. We were lucky in that the Louvre was open after 6pm FREE for those under ...
