Made it to Fargo, Day 2

Made it to Fargo, ND today. It snowed this morning in Wisconsin and we met Emmy's friend for lunch in Minneapolis, MN.
We also stopped at an REI for a few minutes.

Roads in Minnesota this evening were icy in spots and it was very windy, but we went slow and made it here safely.

Sorry, there isn't much else to say since we haven't done any sight seeing yet. Planning on entering Canada tomorrow, so things should become more interesting.

... ND, Alexandria, MN, Pickerel Lake, MN, Grand Island, NE and Mt. Juliet, TN. We drove from Grand Forks, ND toward a campground in Menomonie, WI while listening to the Vikings football game on the radio and keeping up with the Titan's score on our phones. Yea, both teams won! Great start to the season. We finally made it to the campground and hooked up about 7:00PM -- 388 miles! What was that someone said when we started that they didn't want to drive more than 300 miles on any ...

We just stopped for a bathroom run next to a neat picture spot with a big buffalo, a teepee and a little log cabinny thing. Ended up being the site of one of the continental divides where, basically, the water on the continent flows one way to one body of water and the other way to another body of ...

Resignation. This is going to be a longer trip than we thought.

But we're on the way and things are falling into place! We are seeking the things to be grateful for. And we are grateful that sitting in the exit seats from Fargo to Chicago that we did not have to assist with opening the emergency door.

More to come! Our Korean Air flight is on time, we are having a big $ breakfast across from our gate, and will be in the air in two ...

... the right beverages! Bottles of gin, southern comfort, wine and beer later we settled into the Fargo campsite to finalise the details of the next two weeks.

We headed across North Dakota, via first stop Cross Ranch State Park, a real back to nature site. The 'boys’ barbequed – Keith is an expert – and fun was had by all. The highlight of the evening was ...
