We hit the road on the August 25th. Along the way we saw the lush beauty of Wisconsin. A stop for Cheese and Sausage was a welcome break.We spent the night in Fargo, North Dakota after a long days journey.

Today we were on the road for 13 hours. The kids actually slept in the car for two hours, it was sheer bliss! It was a pretty uneventful drive. The hotel in Fargo is great. The kids burned off some energy in the pool and we bumped into a family we know from Edmonton! Weird. Another 13 hours tomorrow will land us in Portage, Indiana.

... plane ride ever; and while taking off, I didn't know whether to be scared or exited, so I was a little of both! It was good that it was only a 50 minute flight in the same country. Good start to a two-week trip!"
