      ... groom very well. In many things I opt for the modern over the traditional but not that day! The church was packed and I'm guessing there had to be close to 400 people in attendance. The reception was back at the Ramada Inn and lasted well into the night. Needless to say, a great time was had by all!


      On Sunday morning eleven of us had breakfast together at Perkins (one of my favorite places for breakfast in this part of the country) before going our separate ways home ...

      ... It wasn't too crowded either. The rides were well maintained and a decent thrill. Multiple rollercoasters and other vomit rides. The cleanest amusement park I've been to. Really. We also had to hit the Lego store and the American Girl store. The kids made their purchases (they brought more money than we did) and we headed out. Made a grocery run for a french loaf, lunchmeats, cheese, olives, etc for a picnic at Lake Calhoun where ...

      And we're off! This time I'm traveling with Kayla and her mom Helen on our European Vacation. After dinner tonight in the airport, I'm thinking I wouldn't be surprised to see the Griswold's show up!!       We were getting a little antsy because this process had taken 45 minutes and the plane was scheduled to leave in 15 minutes; usually the door is closed 10 minutes prior to departure and we still had to pass through security.
