... on my way to San Francisco. Except that's how it should have been. The car rental insurance got a bit messed up by the people I booked it with online so I had to go via a rental office and sort it out. Which meant I had to go to the airport... You know what? The hike was a quick two plus mile, 1,100 foot descent through gigantic old growth Redwoods, across Damnation Creek and along the jagged coast. After graduation, we followed the throng of families all trying to find their loved one in the masses of people who congregated at the end of the field closest to the gymnasium where the soon-to-be graduates had formed up before the ceremony.
