      ... of the commerce that has grown up around it Cameron did ask early on 'When do they turn the Falls off?'

      When we scooted back over the border early on Friday morning, the border guard asked if we had bought anything in Canada - meaning alcohol or tobacco. As Eric said 'No' Cameron piped up from the back seat as we were in the process of winding up the window and the guard still in earshot: 'We bought two postcards!!'. Eric pushed down on the accelerator.

      ... York hours already and I was there less than a week. Will just have to sort that out in the morning when I get breakfast.       ... Canal which goes from Lake Ontario through to Lake Erie.

      As the rain eased we though we might go to Niagara-on-the-Lake stopped at the Information Centre for brochures bought a Adventure Pass to four attractions Journey beyond the Falls, Niagara Fury short movie, Maid of the Mist and Whit Water Walk. While there took some money out of the ATM as where we are going to stay (Pat's Country Home) she wants cash.

      ... was a point when there was really not much point in taking any more photos, unless you had a waterproof camera....it was great fun, and I got a couple of shots just as the setting sun touched the top of them, but I know they won't do justice to how beautiful they were.       ... nuts and scurryingabout. I loved it.

      Our drive was fun … we talked the entire way and marveled at the foliage … it goes and goes and goes. We had a little trouble finding a place to stay in Ohio but settled in and went to a local tavern that served very good dinners. Watched the giants WIN (AWOOO!) and fell
