      Made it down the bay overnight

      ... for poor visibility we were ducking in and out of the channel to avoid Navy traffic.

      During the trip down anything that wasn't fastened down below ended up on the floor in the salon. Left Annapolis at 2 Monday and arrived at Top Rack Marina at about 2 this afternoon. Rewarded ourselves with a great dinner out at the Amber Lantern Restaurant. Early to bed. Up at 5:30 tomorrow to get underway at first light.

      ... that impressive. So, whilst it was an amazing experience and a lot of miles were covered, the itch had not quite been scratched. And so here we go again. This time for 3 weeks. 4 good mates, who know each other pretty well by now, setting off to forge some new memories.

      ... we went to the local hot spot bar to hangout and wait for Kristina. We played a corn hole competition and floated around just having a lovely time. Towards the end we ended up outside on that lovely night, waiting for Dipan's dad to pick us up (we were being responsible). That night we crashed hard.

      I woke up the next day and I couldn't find my purse anywhere! I was freaking out, it had everything important to me in it at the time... We looked everywhere ...

      ... at the eastern shore of va national wildlife refuge located just before the toll for the bay bridge tunnel. Sadly we were at the refuge during the heat of the day, so no good birding, but they had a really fantastic visitor center.
