Then it was a Italian dinner stop before we headed home. Some words that the singers say I find so amusing and Italian is one of them. They pronounce it "eye-talian" which always makes me smile. All stuffed & our food boxes to take out in hand we were off back to Dodgeville. A few jokes and laughs then it was off to ...

I was shocked by how much I loved Madison. It was such a nice place to stop and spend some time. We ate breakfast at an awesome little place called Mickie's. ... I just want to thank everybody who helped me with this trip (you all know who you are!). Without all of your help there would be now way I would be experiencing this once-in-a-lifetime trip. I love you all and I hope to to be able to continue to blog and share with you my trip while I am in China (please excuse the bad grammar and mistakes as I'm still getting used to functioning on a tablet).

It's so close ill hardly be able to sleep!

... The Madison Capitol is distinguished as being the only State Capitol ever built on an isthmus (between Lake Monona and Lake Mendota). Reaching to a height of over 200 feet, the dome is topped by Daniel Chester French's elegant gilded bronze statue, "Wisconsin." Edwin Blashfield's mural "Resources of Wisconsin" lavishly decorates the ceiling of the rotunda, which is the only granite dome in the United States. Inside, visitors are treated to the unique textures of ...
