I woke up in the morning feelig a bit better, although I still didn’t really found
back my appetite!
I took a shower, ate a pommegranate I bought on the street and left for my
second day. I was initially planning on going to the muslim quarter of town,
but at the end I ended up visiting the Lama temple complex and the Confucius
temple in the east part of town. It reminded me a lot to the temples I saw in Haoi,

But this is Beijing people in general, I would think, as they are more accustomed to this high heat in the Summer, and don't believe in drastic body temperature changes, as it "will give you a cold". some lovely moments on the coach journeys were I found out about the lives and loves of Megan and Taylor C. and we have so many photos of kids sleeping in rather strange positions. Declan is winning with the `forehead against the front seat' position, followed by Taylor's 'thumb in mouth' approach.
Tomorrow should beForbidden city, Kung Fu show and a rickshaw ride.
