      ... stopped at the Louisiana border, I was talking to the ladies when they told me that I10 was stopped in both directions at mm50 because of an overturned truck in the median with suspected toxic chemicals.       ... became clear, there was no seat liner because everyone gets a fresh room. WOW. It is rated as the number one bathroom stop in the country for a reason. They also have a huge selection of BBQ and homemade jerky. I'm still not sold on jerked poultry though; goes against my upbringing. (There is a joke in there somewhere, but I'm too tired to find it).       ... we were unable to take a hike along any of the nature trails. This limited our wildlife tally for the trip rather sadly. We resorted to stopping along the side of a road later in the day to try to get at least some photographic evidence of the many egrets we saw throughout the trip!

      ... Causeway, we were ready for some food! Our choices at that point seemed to be either ChiChi's or Macaroni Grille. I have fond thoughts of the house Chianti at the MG, so that's where we ate. Florence is always curious about versions of Chicken Canneloni, so she ordered and enjoyed that. I'm always partial to sausage and peppers and I enjoyed it very much with my wine!
