    ... RV Park in Iowa, (pronounced eye'-oh-way) Is only a couple hundred yards from the Interstate off ramp, small, with eighty well groomed spaces. But this is not a destination park, it's more of a passing trough park. It is, however, clean, updated, gated and you can walk to McD's in two minutes.

    ... 5 over the speed limit, and it was busy and fast. There are a number of other highways and toll roads that come in and out. They paint the numbers on the lanes and a good thing because my head was on a swivel all afternoon. The truckers didn't slow down for a second.     ... became clear, there was no seat liner because everyone gets a fresh room. WOW. It is rated as the number one bathroom stop in the country for a reason. They also have a huge selection of BBQ and homemade jerky. I'm still not sold on jerked poultry though; goes against my upbringing. (There is a joke in there somewhere, but I'm too tired to find it). We also made it to Home Depot where we spied the most professionally executed residential AC-unit-in-a-van-window conversion ...

    One thing I didn't realize about NO is that there are very few streets that allow traffic to flow in both directions. When I was there for a convention a half-century ago, I didn't have to pay attention...I was walking! We saw all the same sights we remembered; even drove past ...
