        ... e etc. Our cost on a gravel 30 amp site on the river with full hookups was $32 with a Good Sam discount. It was a nice campground and they have a lot of sites that will fit a huge RV and car. The bathhouse is small and the laundry only has two machines for washing and drying but it was free.         After a brief visit at country central (Nashville) we were off to the arch rival and home of Elvis, Memphis. There is a famous street called Beale which is were most of the bars are with the live blues music and ribs etc. Its quite similar to Nashville but definately had their differences.         ... The place is so steeped in history and you could feel that as you cruised up the river, with 60s tunes in the background and a beer in your hand.

        We headed back to the hotel on the trolley car one last time, deciding an early night was best given our 6 hour drive to Chattanooga tomorrow. We have both thoroughly enjoyed Memphis and it is certainly on the "to do again and again" list. Until next time Memphis!

        ... you have to remember that the decorating was supervised by Elvis himself in the 1970s when everything was a bit tacky. I was surprised by how small all of the rooms seemed to be, in today’s world of McMansions, residential Graceland was surprisingly modest by comparison, lots of smaller rooms, but no grand entrance or massive living areas.
