... we will usually change our route to incorporate it. Always been worth it so far. Some of the houses along Lake Michigan were so large and opulent - mansions. Along the beaches, there were lots of people taking advantage of the good weather. The water in Lake Michigan is very very cold though we did see a few people swimming. These lakes are so huge - I guess that's why theya re called the Great Lakes. Ha Ha. It's like most things, knowing and seeing can be 2 very diffferent ...
