... There wasn't much action then, but shortly after feeding time in the AM and afternoon, it apparently gets pretty lively. We will see.

The campground has about forty sites, which are paved and offer water and electricity. I took on about fifty gallons of the liquid gold and then did up the hose and stowed it. It's still freezing at night, so this is what works best for us. We'll let the pump do the job for us. It's just above ...

... look at the facility, so over we went. I also kinda knew that this meant we'd be adding a new member to the family.

Once there, we went to the cat building and they have cages and rooms containing dozens of cats of all ages. Just a short drive tomorrow to San Antonio! Can't wait to see the Riverwalk and the Alamo.

... two are dark brown with patterned leather. One is a more traditional style but it’s the shorter pair that are talking to me most. They fit beautifully and have an unusual rose pattern tooled into the leather. They are entirely unlike any other pair of boots I’ve ever owned and they’re beautiful. Cute and quirky and statement making and I cave and buy them, justifying them as an early birthday/Christmas/something present to myself. I only wish ...

      The many faces of Texas

Texas has so many different environments. Today alone I woke up in lush hills, crossed two beautiful lakes on causeways that reminded me of our old home in South Padre Island, TX, and descended into a much more arid climate. I began the day's travels in 48 degree weather and spent the afternoon riding in the 90s. All this in over a distance of only two hundred miles as the crow flies. This first photo, taken at a gas station convenience store, will attest ...
